Ask if anyone else has found a way around it. So long as you aren't abusing the resources (i.e. using a large percentage of the bandwidth constantly) which you probably won't be, most admins won't be too bothered. In fact, game players probably use less bandwidth than someone like myself who is always downloading large ISOs and Linux updates. :)

Yeah, CS only uses around 24 kilobits/3.02 Kilobytes a second.
Not to much of a resoruce hog.
Our server if full uses 1/2MB a second. Considering that its on a OC-192 line, thats not much of a hog either. lol

i can not get broadband where i live...1/4 mile driveway so no one will run cable and hey havet run dsl out here. satalite is insane $

As I said, I know how to get past our admins but wouldn't do it even out of simple respect for the guys.
