I have always questioned the teaching methods of schools. They tell you to sound words out, but there are plenty of words that are not spelled, **** like they sound, What ever happened to silent letters. Though that concept is completely moronic to me.

Gaelic is a crazy language, I had to learn a little bit when I was an Irish exchange student. I only remember one phrase though, tell me if I get it right: "Pog Ma Hon!"

I was told to do it the sameway but what i do is if i think that word not spell right i look the word up for the correct spelling just to make sure. It's a habit what can i say.

I just type it and don't care if its spelled right. If its in word, I have a spell checker. If its someplace else, and it is bothering someone, they can fix it :D
For me it has become a great tool to have you can never go wrong with a good spell checker
