Where in that does it say that you should be assigning negative points to people for posting in this thread? I will agree that the system is not good, but that is because of the users, not because of the system. The change that needs to be made is that jupiter needs to hire a couple of people to watch for users that don't know how to use the system. It doesn't mean that you go around assigning negative points to every post you see.

The "nonsensical" thread has around 6,000 posts...........so if there were that much wrong with it, why haven't the moderators closed it?..............errrr.........they must have noticed it by now? :) As souleman points out..we can post as we like? if you don't like the thread....don't read it...........that seems pretty democratic to me?
Also, given the almost 6,000 posts JUST WHO IN HELL do Noodle and shrekkie have the impertinence to think that they are, dictating to the rest of AO?
Finally (for the moment) I would suggest that they must be intellectually challenged?..at least as far as math(s) is concerned............even at an average of +1 antipoints per post, it will take them rather a long time to close a thread this big?

The reason I personally havent closed this thread although I have come close is that few people have reported any offensive etc posts in here, secondly a few good arguments from people about why it should and others why it shouldnt so that its difficult to know what to do unless it gets out of hand or something. Plus Jup has seen this thread and hasnt felt the need to close it like JP did with The Worlds Longest Thread.Quote:
