It never is when your team goes down. I used to watch it on channel 4 tv here, and actually went to a game to see the Scottish Claymores, but kind of lost interest, too much stop / start stuff. I prefer football(soccer)Quote:

American Football is an acquired taste.
BTW, I've had a couple good friends who played on the Claymores and on the Monarchs. I enjoyed watching the World League. The rules of World League are very different, and the games go much faster.
I prefer college football, though. More heart and drama.
I'll try and re-acquire a taste for it again , at some point. It is very much like cricket in that sense, but once you understand the rules, etc it is pretty much easy to follow, if you like cricket in the first place, and very few do in ScotlandQuote:

Isn't cricket an English thing, anyway. And, kinda hard to play in a kilt? ;)
We think of cricket as an odd sort of baseball, with weird terms, indecipherable rules, and a very strange looking bat.
Hey, Nightfalls, do they play cricket down under?
(BTW, we keep this up, and we'll kick this list over 2k!)
I only watch nascar races for the car crashes I don't want the drivers getting hurt at all but where else can you go and see 40 or so cars crash into one another and not be involved in it
YesQuote:

Not really, you need something to rub your ball on, to keep it shine'y, never quite figured that one out :confused:Quote:
