I hate today.
IRC bitched at me.
Advanced network security room got fecked up by some lame ass network admin tweaking the freakin' firewall (don't ask -- I haven't figured out how DHCP can be turned on and IP addressing changed from 192.168.1 to 192.168.2).
It's been raining non-stop all day.
Bloody transit system runs too fast or too slow -- pick one and only one.
It takes over a feckin' hour to install SP1 for Windows XP on a Dell Inspiron 8100 ... and then it does a 256MB memory dump when it does the obligatory reboot.
I missed the train home and people are *******s during rush hour.

On the plus side, I met a friend who has moved into computer security consulting with the gov/mil here in Canada -- and he asked for my email! w00t! :D

stoopid linux box, thought i had it set up for dual screens, turns out i enabled both of my cards in the BIOS, but somehow the bloody thing goes and disables both, so no screens at all...
after 20 or so mins stuck in text only mode and reading the manual (160 pages) finally sort out the problem, but the stoopid thing was using both monitors on boot, why won't it play nice?
id just hate to see what windoze would do if it didnt want to play nice, BSOD to hell and back and not being able to start a system with no GUI...
never tryoing dual screens again!!
