My doubts are not with Linux, I know they will continue to be a strong angle in the OS markets. I myself love it. I just wanted to voice my opinion about it, nothing more:) Peace.

Windows and Linux = Winux
ok here are my 2cents, In the future they will combine the windows and linux to make the best operating system. Winux or Lindows, I like the sound of Winux better. Well anyway making an operating system capable to combine all file types. Taking all the advantages of linux and windows and combining them.
How come no one has tried to do that?
I know I would buy it, or maybe take the advantage that linux offers and make it free.
Linux and Microsoft joining forces is like mixing Coke with Pepsi, they dont mix never will and Money speaks louder than sense.
Well Lindows and Winux both exist already.Quote:

;Heya ppl,
;
;lemme introduce you my first multi-platform virus, the worlds first
;PE/ELF infector. The idea of first Win32/Linux virus came to my head
;when I was learning Linux viruses.
However a year earlier someone hinted at things to come *wink*
see VDAT 2.000.2 iWORM-NET for more detailsQuote:

It wouldn't take a great deal of effort to construct a multi-operating / platform system iWORM-NET. In the case of a dual Linux / Windows system the Linux iWORM would carry a windows binary iWORM and could use the following type command to access Windows if it was on partition hda1 'mount -t vfat /dev/hda1 /mnt/hda1' . From here the server could just drop the windows iWORM entity or better still manipulate the file structure to guarentee success.

With regards support for file types Linux supports loads including the actual Windows filesystem see: mount
i.e. mount -t vfat /dev/hdb1 /mnt/windows
