Thanks to all of you out there for giving me suggestions, but i think i am not explaining my problem correctly. let me try once again. listen carefully. About half a year ago , whenever i installed Windows NT4 (server) on my machine , i also installed the sound card(through control panel, bcz NT4 does not detect it automatically) as well and the card always worked fine in that OS. But one day, i format my HDD due to some problems (heavy registry size etc.). Then I installed the same OS (i.e NT4 server) once again. But after that day , i am never able to install the card in NT4 server. i try the NT4 workstation and now trying Win2k as well (as i previously mentioned), but no true 32bit Windows is able to detect my soundcard.Quote:

AND THANKS TO MR. Conf1rm3d_K1ll , BUT I THINK SUB7 IS A BETTER ONE, BCZ ITS NEW VERSION IS STILL UNDETECTED BY MANY AVs........:D
Have you checked to see if you have any conflicts with any other devices in your system?
Find the model number of your motherboard and goto MSN.com, or google.com and do a search for the model number and it should popup with links for drivers and specs on your board.
Hope that helped.
ok all you need is the type of sound file you have built in mother bourd and the goto the microsoft put in the type of system you are running and then the make of the sound card and they have the up grade then all you do is do a refresh after you install it. You see the OS 2k give you alist of things not compatiable even before you start the transtion between the OS. or you can go to you manufactures site like gateway and chose to open from there and install it. have fun it took me 2 days to get all my things compatiable to 2000.
