I don't know... My New Years resolution was to never make another resolution. :D
I hope this year will bring the downfall of M$.
Adding on to the Microsoft Downfall. I think that would be bad. I would rather see a conjoined operating system that can read all file formats, basically do both Linux and Windows on every scale. Have one major universal operating system.
Well if that doesn't happen at least see more come out for Linux, more services, better programs, ISP's that support it. It's already getting started with Sun, and IBM, and even DEll are making some changes.
No grandious wishes here.
I just want all your daughters!!!!
HAPPY NEW YEAR!!!!!!!!
FreeOn, in case you hadn't heard yet, there is a new OS that's called Lindows. It's based on a linux kernell, but supports both file formats. I guess that if it gets to be open source, there might be a good way MS will have to bow and admit linux is as worthy as windows. If they do theyre best, they might survive the whole thing.
Grtz,
Graduate soon!, get a great job!, become completely NO-MS.
Since youve covered aids war peace etc i want to be financially independent and not worry about bills not so much being rich ,i also want to be a great unix user.
Don't count on it...the natural progression of time doesn't respond to wishes based on the calendar year.Quote:

Not to sound like a defeatist, but that's just how it is...hope is nice, but hope has no bearing on reality, either. Only action promotes change...hope never does. If you want things to be better, make your 'resolution' one to make things better through your own actions, be it your education, your advancement in a profession, or just your willingness to do so...
Time is eternal, but the events that shape it are subject to the molds that all of us create for it...example being, "If I had made this choice instead of This one, how would things have been different?". This maxim is also eternal and undeniable. At one point or another, an ordinary life becomes extraordinary, but it doesn't come by just sitting around hoping and wishing for it to happen.
Ouroboros
Cheers to all and to all a good year !
YEAH
It would be real nice if all those people who want to and do earn scads of money and then spend it on BMRS, GLEAMERS, REAMERS and SCREAMERS would get their priorities straight and spend money on us technophiles to solve some real problems and get this here thang we call an economy back in to some serious CREAM.
