Do you stil need help? then let me know
Sounds like a memory problem, have the memory tested. Or try some other memory and see if it works.
No, it was the MB, i tested diff memory, the cpu is working, and all the jumpers where set right, i tripple checked everything else..... thanks all
lol! trust me: if you get the write parts, building a computer is a piece of cake! lol ask anyone who works with computers moderatley :\ i can install the hardware and configure bios in under an hour ... lol waiting in windows/linux to install is the most time-consuming which isnt too bad anymore... the only problem i ran into was that i installed the power led wrong.. lol stupid jumpers all crammed together ;)Quote:

Yes, it is cake, i have built 7 pc and 2 servers..it is really easy, my MB was at fault...Thanks Everybody
Dude,
Check the jumper settings for the board/processor and also make sure the memory you are using is the same amount of mb and vendor in each slot.
I hope you were grounded when installing all your hardware cuase an intermittent short is hard as heck to find.
If all esle fails, get a good known mother board out of an old system and try the install with all the other hardware in your new build.
You may want to run loop tests on all your hardware and see if you can get one or the other to fail.
Good Luck,
