I feel that Antipoints should be automaticaly signed and logged, so that one can keep a record of what has happend, and also keep from making the same mistake twise....
But that's just me....
<me> gets into a Flame proof Outfit </me>
This is the problem with having negative points automatically signed.
1. People will be too afraid to let anyone see their names and there will be no more negative points.
2. People will decide to get revenge on the negative point giver. I'm not saying most people will do this, but it will happen enough to start AntiPoint wars and defeat the purpose of the system.
And the antipoints are logged - if someone keeps abusing the system, JP can and will intervene.
Well, get used to it. If you are like me and you could give a **** less what some punk bitch thinks, you will get negative AO points. I will always say what's on my mind don't care about getting negative AO points. It seems the only way to get positive points while speaking your mind is to be a suck-ass liberal. And yes, I think it should automatically tell you who sent the positive/negative points. Haraam77.........:2pick:
I fully agree that the negative ao points should be logged. But I also think they should be monitored for stupid reasons such as "this is ****" or "you are a loser" or whatever the case may be, but by the same token you can't take it to heart. I would be pissed if i got negative points for an idiotic reason but having thier name won't make any difference whatsoever. You would probably retaliate in some way and then become one of the same bunch that you despise so much. It doesn't matter who writes it. as long you know you aren't n idiot why should one negative post mean anything to you?
If I had a penny for every thread started by
someone complaining about negative points...
first... antipoints are not that big a deal. second... one reason that some people don't sign is because they fear that it will turn into a red-point-flame-war.... i usually sign mine, but i have seen instances were it has caused a problem...
reason nuber 2 some people don't:

I realize that this isn't going to make things any better, but I have to say it...
To the "5" people who all gave me negative points at exactly 11:35... what do you think I am, a moron? What are the odds that five people will give me negative points, at exactly the same time, and that every point, despite being anonymous, all of them say something about "whining"? My god! I honestly believe that these people do believe that I'm that thick! It doesn't take a genious to see what's going on here...

I feel that I should respond to kajull's comment:
It matters to me who gave them to me, because although I don't mind getting negative feedback, if someone can't sign their name, it means that they can't honestly defend WHY they are giving the points. I feel that I don't deserve a lot of these points, and all I want is the opportunity to ask these people why they think that I do for posting ONE SINGLE TIME in a thread they don't like! I only give negative feedback when I feel that people truly deserve it, and that's only when they've used a post to insult or pick on somebody maliciously. I grew up being insulted all of my life for no real reason, and I feel very strongly about it - I am always willing to leap to the defense of anyone who is unjustly insulted. It makes me angry that some people think that they can use negative AntiPoints to bully people around, and only post the sort of thing that they want to see. Freedom of speech is something that must be preserved, and I'm not going to give up MY right to it just because some childish people tell me to! You're right, the negative points shouldn't mean anything to me when I know that I don't deserve them, but I feel too strongly about freedom of speech and injustice not to speak out. Despite the fact that these people will never admit to giving me these points, I'm sure that they're going to read this, and I want them to know how I feel. "Give me liberty or give me death". Never were truer words spoken. Read my signature. I've always used it - maybe now you'll all understand why. By the way, to those of you who are honest and just, I praise you. You don't deserve this rant.
