Yep, ret0, has a good point... and also the gradient deleting of accounts should be implemented if the auto delete is going to be used, cause otherwise senior members (and others) will lose their account due to (for instance) inprisonment, vacations,... everyone knows the frequent posters so basicly there is no prob. therefor let's keep the accounts (IHMO)

At a forum that i am security had we had the smae problem! The way we went about it is to email all the ppl with 0 posts witha a valadation link. They were told that if they still visited the site to click on it or if they have no need for the account to leave it be and that their profile would be removed!

If a like question were asked at work, my advice would be to send the validation email to *all* members. Keeps down the frivolous discrimination claims.

Well, as much as I appreciate everyone trying to help cut down on our hardware costs, removing user accounts is a bad idea.
Besides, disk drives are cheap anymore =)
