I think I have it much better than all you people with your freedoms of civilian life. For one simple reason. When I get bored at work, I get to haze Marines. That's always a large source of entertainment. The things you can make scared kids right out of bootcamp do. It's quite entertaining. Takes away from the monotony. If any of you all have "underlings", abuse them. You'll soon find out that you are less stressed and makes the beer go down much easier at the end of the day. For those of you that wait that long. I rarely do.
There is a site dedicated for people who are boored at work, complete with panic button if your boss shows up......I dono the site but it was on BBC's Click-online's review for a few days agoe, you can look around at www.bbc.co.uk...

Hey MC! Wish I had your problem...I just spent a week in Dallas, Texas building three HP machines. One's an A500 with two 700mhz procs and 2gb of ram, and the other two are partitioned off an RP8400. Each partition has 16gb of ram and is hooked to the XP512 (SAN) with 1 partition with 900gb and the other with 145gb. 64 hours of work in 4 days and my happy ass is damned tired. Think I'll go home early today...

Whenever I get bored at work I like to take some online self study courses.... or read AO, which ever comes first!
PS I know my posts come in spurts, I wonder if most other peoples do...evidence of slow periods of the day?
