i think the list is not fake and that the list mostly contains anti-democratic countries and if they were ever bombed with nuclear war heads they would get a pretty hated response from other countries, democratis and non-democratic.
Ya'll forget that nukes are a deterent, that's the way the U.S. gov't views them, as does most of the nuke capable countries. Obviously that list is somewhat bogus. It's probably more of the gov't intimidation tactics in the *booming voice* WAR ON TERRORISM *booming voice*. It makes sense to release non-specific information about the possiblity of nukes. Scare you into complying.
No wonder these countries are pissed with the U.S. How can you get along with another nation when they have you on there list of countries we would like to nuke but can't because killing women and children looks bad.

Good point. I personally see this list as a form of terrorism in itself.....Terrorising countries into submission. Very hypocritical when you're supposedly fighting a war against that sort of thing...
Agreed, but this type of"terrorism" doesn't cause lives to be lost and it's used as a deterent. So in that respect it's a good thing....wouldn't you say. Keep in mind these aren't favorable countries to the U.S. It's definitely a case of mutual combatants.
Who's to say. Perhaps it's not going to cause any loss of life in the near future but throwing around nuclear threats could be responsible for huge loss of human life in later years. I'm sure countries such as China wont easily forget such threats.Quote:

U.S. pressure for what? We've been helping these countries out right and left. It's nice to look at all the bad that the U.S. does and never look at all the help we give out. It just goes to show that perception is everything. This is not the first time this list has been done. It's nothing new, every year they do this. It just so happens that with the "war on terrorism" going on that makes this "hot" news. And ya'll get up in arms about it, but the truth of the matter is, it's nothing new.Quote:

Exactly....IMHO the "war on terrorism" is more a war on countries that won't bow down to US pressure and prefer to think and act on their own behalf rather than have some self imposed "national ruler" control them. If this truly was a war on terrorism bombs would be falling on Northen Ireland.. Anyway, just my opinion....like an *******, everyone has one. ;)
