For me, I only want to post to either answer a question, find the answer to a question, or comment on something. It appears to me that you may have been posting only to raise your AO status. If that's not true then I apologize. Just my opinion and you can take it or leave it.

I doubt that this is true, because hotmail inboxes are only 2 mb large, and they close you out if its too big. Unless of course you are paying for extra space...Quote:

Honestly, thought, n00bish, you CAN receive that many e-mails. The program only checks your limit once a day or so, and as long as you trash those 5,596 emails before it runs its check, it really doesn't care.

Hotmail only has a limit on the overall size of the mail box, and it is 2mb like you said BUT, if the e-mail itself was from an expiernced person then you can send it without headers, subject, to/from identification, etc. What this means is you can send off thousands of e-mails to a hotmail user and each one of the e-mails will only be about 3-400 bytes. What this means is that you can send off about 5,000 e-mails to one inbox before you hit the account limit.
Hello all, I ask that you go easy on JRoc. I too once was a newbie and I too made similar mistakes. One night I posted 25 times just so I would be at 100 posts. This was a while ago and I have since slowed down, but at the time I just wanted to be heard and respected(the same thing I want now). JRoc, the advice I was given at the time was to use the pm feature of antionline to send a message to a single user so as not to have too many posts. Also read through a lot of the older posts. Enjoy your time here.

EDIT: I must admit the 62 posts in a day were annoying but EMail Bombing him with the message 'stay away from AO' is a bit childlike..... Just because he is a newbie doesnt give you the right to bomb his EMail addy :(
