We use 3com managed switches here, and it's spiffy as all hell.
As for the brand wars...we use all 3com equipment, and our corporate HQ has blown fiber modules in their 3300 probably 5 times. I don't have fiber in mine yet...but I hope I don't have to come in at 3am just to change fiber mods out all the time.
