I just don't understand how this happens.....lol. I watch football quite a bit, and have seen strange things during a tackle....but how in the world does your finger wind up THERE!? I need to see footage...lol!Quote:

I'm sorry but how can you say that rugby league is quite the opposite?unless you mean in terms off skill and aggresion- rugby union is far more skillfull and far more aggresive than union will ever be - i played league from the age 9 till 18 when i was seriously injured and could not play anymore - & even with that i would still play if any damn insurance company would insure me but with my previous injury they won't!!!!!Quote:

Before i played rugby i studied taekwondo & was district champ - at 8 in an under 15's comp so am not a push over - & i played league rugby and 7's - so this is not a case of some meat head union player slagging off league
I don't know and don't care to know what it is like in australia but in Ireland rugby is a revered sport with no homosexuality (that I have ever seen) and alot of sportsmanship - with all the troubles in Ireland is well called for

bah... all you people with your tackling and scrumming and inserting and gnawing...come to canada...aside from hockey one of our most popular sports is curling...the only sport in the world where you can drink and smoke and eat while you're playing (yayaya i know about darts but you can't really call that a sport).... :D

I would be a totally different person if I never took up the fine game of snooker. I wouldnt have to rely heavily on nicotine and alcohol to get me through my days.
ahh...but you see my Australian friend...snooker, pool, eight ball...whatever...are, like darts, played in a bar....curling requires a FACILITY
rink, rocks, brooms, slippy shoes...even a head ice maker...THAT is a sport...just like hockey...except without the action, hitting and excitement...hehe...

Aussie Rules is the real sport. No body armour, full contact, played on a ground 180 mtrs long and 90 mtrs wide.
And you even get to witness the odd biting of the testicles.
What more would you want?
