There was one old short scifi story I read once... ah! Here, I found a link to a copy on the net.
The basic idea was that they realized we were too weird, nobody would want to talk to us.
lmao I went to Toronto and Vancouver too, I might have spoiled those cities too :D
My Ideas:
- Aliens do exist
- If they knew of us, that obviously means they have a higher intelligence and could learn all they wanted by viewing us secretly
- Vancouver is the best Canadian city
- We may be the most intelligent life form in the universe
I remember reading that television signals keep on going after they leave the plant. So it's possible that some alien could be watching "Laverne and Shirley" or "Survivor" right now. Which means, they have probably decided not to ever come to earth. :D But seriously, I'm not sure if there is life on other planets. Actually, the Bible doesn't say anything about it. It's possible that God may have created on other planets. I guess we will find out for sure one day.
Life on other planets does exist. I'm constantly in contact with them. And believe me, they're coming! They've just got to iron out a few bugs in their fresh SlackWare install. Apparently the control computer for the Mother Ship runs Slack...
Anyways, I better go take my medication....
If there is a higher life form out there, I hope they don't watch our television signals... They'll surely come to earth to sanitize the galaxy...

not neccessarily higher life...not neccessarily lower life, maybe they're at the same technilogical stage were at? they might not have the ability to visit or send signals to other planets...

When the Big bang happend all differnet sorts of matter were, more or less blown apart, the earth is an example of matter and elements in the matter, coming together, who dissagrees wiht teh fact that the same matter may exist in another part, after all if u look up right now the distant stars are more or less other suns burning afar, life may exist close to those just like we are now. And if their is potential for life u all asume the fact that its more advanced than us, mebe in a cruel twist of fate that life is still to evolve or has died many years ago.
If their is advanced life out their may be they havent found us yet, or as a scientist said "could be lurking among us" or waiting for us to evolve, past our primate instincts to fight and kill for what we need.
Wars are very bad examples of human nature, Any of u seen rol dahls "B.F.G"? (sorry i dunno how to spell his first name) they are not allot of creatures that distroy their own kind, and the ones that u will find dont really evolve at all, and in the animal kingdom have a pointless existece.
The paralel dimension stuff i read from one of your posts, is only really scientists thinking "what would happen if this were different?" their is not such thing, only the physical can exist, and this my freinds.... the earth is definetly there.
Even if these "advaced forms" of life exist mabe they wiped theirselves out years ago, thats if they are anything like us, were getting quite close at the moment
