See the thing that makes me wonder though is isn't this things that you do for a girl you wanna take to the prom, and get laid afterwards?

Speaking as a mother of small children, I love the handmade stuff. I have handmade butterflies out of construction paper and tissue paper and my son made paper flowers in a paper basket and on each "stem" is a written promise to do something. My favorite is his vow to clean the cat litter. We'll see how long that one lasts. :D
Seriously though..treat your mom with love and respect throughout the year and shower her with a little extra something on the special day. In our family it's always something for the garden....and little arms around my neck telling me I'm the best makes it a wonderful day.

Hey guys... be it whatever - just remember your mom's on their day. I only wish mine were still around...

Well, I remember every mother's day. She and my sister are the only family I have.

Well for me , my son knew my car needed work and to take it into a shop would have meant major $$ so for Mothers DAy he replaced my water pump fan belts and thermasat. To me this was great because it meant that he cared enough about me to make sure I didnt have a break down in the middle of nowhere. I hope that you treat your mothers with kindness and caring the gifts are nice but what really counts is how you can make us feel special.

I think I will invite my mom to our housewarming party.

Most of you need your MUM's permission to get online...So this is a day to thank her for it!!

yeah buddy.. i wouldn't sweat it.. just spend time with her. but not just on mother's day.
really.. i hate most "holidays" .. they're mass marketing schemes to try to take your money.
the significance of the true holiday is usually lost.
just my two cents..

Ok mothers day is here, and this is what I did... I got my mom a new Tv she really needed one. I got her a Sony 51" HDTV High-Scan 1080i projection Tv... I had no idea tvs cost so darn much. *lol* I will also be taking my mom out to dinner, but without a limo......
