bnbo: You could just get a shell and go through it. That's the fastest (and easiest, IMO) way to do it. Get a shell, and use Lynx to surf, and that'll make it look as if you have *nix running. Hopefully this helps.

Yeah the little green triangle is probably the easiest way to go. . .fun to play w/ too, tryin' to figure out everything you can change. . .after you get proxo, you might wanna find a site that uses a good script to try to get your environmental variables.
btw, just to let u know, backup your **** before proximitron, if u dont know what your doing it could make your browser hell, lol..... i hated that little program!
You can not use lynx for cyberarmy, when i tried to use it it told me the link was not working(this was before they went down) It was because the link was for javascript
yeah i had already considered a shell..... kinda hard to pull together though since aol doesn't support anything good like that......so i'd have to get one through another isp or a company that sells shell accounts..... but i don't plan to buy a shell account cos next year i'm going to the mississippi school for math and science..... and i'll just set up my own *nix box there.....
