Sub7 can combine the server.exe with a jpg file. Try it
Sub7 can combine so can a lot of other programs although the result file is still an exe file it just shows the jpg instead of an fake error message or nothingQuote:
It was just a remote management tool that had some funky features.
Aside from the fact that I'm the Net Admin, and I was just playing a little joke on someone with code I would have written myself....
Ugh, enough with the explaining. I can't believe I got negs just for downloading source code to open up remote CD trays.
Why do you want to hide a .exe anyway?
The reason i want to hide A exe file is all trojans and things of that sort that i've found are .exe and most people have pretty much some basic knowledge that pictures aren't in .exe so if i could find a way to change it and still have it work then everything would be ok and i could mess with people on there comps.
Instead of useing a trojan whats something or where can i learn how to hack into computers without useing a trojan.

LOL...NeoXed appeared to be quite correct!
You couldn't hide an exe as something else but you can use different files to do the same purpose. An example is that you can use a *.bat file or a *.com file these would simply be a different program though, it would be tough to make a trojan from it.
Sadly, despite his poor choice of words, NeoXed was correct. Personally, I don't see what all the fuss is about. What he's asking should be very easy. You can attach an icon to a .exe file with something as simple as VB. And how many people actually have the full file name showing for known file types? Unfortunately, not many. I personally do, but that's because I'm security conscious. And I try to set it up for every system I can get my hands on, but it's sad but amazing how much people rely on the little graphic next to the file to tell them what it is.
too bad! this is just going to discourage constructive posts, and encourage flames when someone is asking a ligitamate question.
so what make you think you can hack a computer, when you don't know squat. the days of '95 are gone forever, when anyone with a little computer savvy could do it. today you really have to know your ****. there's alot of info on hacking computers available to anyone, on the internet. you just have to be able to understand it. once you can understand it you don't really want to hack into someones box unless your seriously disturbed. its kinda like a marshal art, once your 1337 enough to do it, your know enough not to. so grow the **** up and learn something.
I'm obviously not the only pathetic one here seems all of you are pretty pathetic yourself. trying to tell me to get a life and everything and learn my ****. Yet all I asked was a program to hide .exe files as something else and all you dumb shits can't answer that simple little thing and for your information after getting tired listening to all your **** I created my own program it does hide .exe files as something diff. So none of your pathetic no social life freakz can all shut up now and Back off a Beginner who in some cases seems to know more than you all.
