As someone had previously cited, if someone (especially a young child) is able to look over your shoulder and watch your password as you enter it (and they can actually understand it, etc), it's a mild hack.
Back in some of the old wars, some of the best "hacks" were to crypto - and, I think it was WWII where the German codes were broken by the English by them simply by "hacking" the key exchange method. Somehow, they were able to get a microphone in to record the key exchanges that would take place, everyday, in some "secure" room some place - one guy would dictate the key and the other would write it down and/or change the code machine. (Ref from memory: Spy Catcher by Peter Wright (yes, I know it's out of print, but sometimes you get lucky and someone has a copy they are selling))

Well I guess that would be a hack. But after that they think they are the greatest hackers.

themaster_2001, it's apparent you may be "administrator" of things but you sure as hell aren't administrating a spell checker, rofl...

But, they're kids. They have no basis for comparison. What do you propose, that we teach a sixth-grade level "hacking" class to further clue them? I think the most valuable lesson they can learn from it is that there are certain things that people need to "protect" in their lives... passwords or PINs are among them.Quote:

i wouldn't exactly call 'full access to your account' a mild hack. it may not be technically skillful but its definitely artful.
