You know there are plans in the works right now to form the 'american Union'. The joining together of the US with S. american/central american countries eventually all of N/S america then on to total globalization.
The new unit of exchange is to be the 'amero' (before total globe)
All this spying and reporting would be an easy way to squash any disention once every body finds out their really doing this.

It's this type of thinking that IMHO will be mans greatest downfall. "I have nothing to hide so i dont care what they do to other people..." That's what it sounds like to me...

Oh no! The feds are spying on AO! If they see that post on the World Cup, I can safely say that we will all be put behind bars for a very long time.
On a serious(ish) note, I don't have any problem with the feds spying on boards. I think it's a good idea, just to get into the mindset of potential computer criminals. If that is what it is about. It's kind of silly (imho) if it has anything to do with the 9/11 attacks though.
