I personally like pwaring's idea better. Conformation popup box would make you verify that is what you wanted to do.... Changing the points you have already assigned would get really anoying. I can see people giving a stupid post positives just so more people would give it negatives, then change their assignment a few hours later....

Thanks for the support michael and souleman, the simple ideas are always the best it seems. :)
Dr Toker: I haven't a clue what is happening with JRoc, his antipoints jump up and down so fast I can't keep track of them. One minute he's got lots of greenies after being hammered by FocMaester, the next he's got lots of negatives, then positives, and back to negatives again! :confused:

Unfortunately, our algorithms are way too complex and dynamic to allow us to "back out" the data necessary to allow a user to change an assignment that a user has given.
I did, however, implement a spin-off of pwaring's suggestion.
From now on, there will be no default selected, and there is javascript form validation.
