I will agree with TC... not often we see a newbie come out of the woodwork, say "hey, I'm new and I know it and I want to learn" and go on with a polite, non-offensive introduction post. I must echo the thoughts... "welcome." Good t'see there are still some n00bs out there with the sense to read a bit and understand before they post anything completely moronic as an "intro" post.
