Well, I don't know what sort of systems you need to do remote admin on, but Microsoft's Netmeeting (which ships with 2k and XP, I believe, and is a free download) has a remote administration feature built into it. It is very router friendly, and it is free. Though it can only administer a Windows PC (obviously).
And then there is always PC Anywhere and such...

Thanks for the response. I've used PCAnywhere before, but I'll check out WinVNC & Radmin as well. Like the look of Radmin ....
