Ok, I guess I haven't been clear enough. At first I meant trying it from home, the last couple of times I meant, order a DSL connection to your OFFICE/COMPANY. They are typically more expensive that a standard home installation of DSL, but what it gives you is an 'external internet connection' right in your OFFICE.
We have several remote sites that order a DSL directly to their computer room and they use this 'external internet connection' to ensure that their web pages and other services are 'available and up'. The point being, you could order this up for a few months, do testing from the 'internet' at your leisure, and then cancel the subscription...much cheaper and realistic...
I hope my meaning is a little clearer this time around, I tend to be a little difficult to understand at times :)

Thanks Nebulus, I do get what you mean, might be worth asking if we can have one put in, in fact I think we may be havin a 2Mb pipe installed next month, if my memory serves me correctly... I will never go home again!!
Guess to try out the effect of the delays on the results of the scans I could scan a machine locally, then put it on the Net and scan it across that.... that could be worth a try I suppose.
