google.com, it is without the doubt the best resource. Just type in your topic in the search box, and boom.... ;]
HTML is not iterpreted and it isn't object oriented either. It has no statements, no evaluation mechanisms, no way of storing data for evaluation and no control structures. In short - it is not a programming language at all.Quote:

HTML is a way to to mark up text in ways that a browser can render. It has absolutely nothing to do with programming and even less to do with the delicate theory of object orientation.
Then again, maybe you weren't serious?
Nah, I'm just a bit tired. I think I'm getting mixed up with Javascript. All together there's gotta be something in HTML, cookies and JS, but what? You don't have to compile it at least ;)

try python for a first languege u can go here http://python.org its quite easy 2 pick up and they have a few on line tutorials for u 2 read 2
Hm, I followed the python links because I keep meaning to learn, but the tutorial keeps mentioning IDLE/python GUI and there is nothing in my download of it that suggests it could function as such. Non of the files seem to be that, I don't know, on a scale of 1-10 how dumb am I being here?! Sorry, do any of you a) follow what I'm saying and b) know how to remedy it? The tutorial says it's for beginners and I assumed that meant it would be step-by-step...I got the d/l from http://python.org/doc/Newbies.html and I'm following the tut on http://www.honors.montana.edu/~jjc/e...de1.html...Can anyone explain the error of my ways?

what version do u have and IDLE is intergrated development enviroment u can read about it here http://python.org/idle
and i get the not found error onthe tutorial link did u get the refered link from the site?
k, it doesn't matter about the tut link, it works for me and it's a good tutorial but it didn't tell me how to find the IDLE - I know what it stands for, just didn't get the path. However I can now rate myself about 8-9/10 for dumbness! I should have been able to find that link, sorry. Thankyou! That has instantly cleared up all my earthly worries, you're a star prodikal!
