Ive got an ATI RAGE MOBILITY - P AGP2X
so will that support most high res's (1600x1200) and higher?
You have a laptop? That would have been useful information, since many don't have external monitor ports. But anyway, if you took the time to look at the ATI web site, you would find a page which will tell you to look at the documentation of your laptop to find out the resolution it supports. I did do some further research, however, and discovered that it supports only "resolution up to 1280x1024". If you want to upgrade, you're going to have to purchase a new laptop, because the graphics chips are integrated on the motherboard. Check out the documentation that came with your laptop or check out the web site of your laptop's manufacturer to find out more information.
