Osama/Usama bin Laden

Osama Bin Laden, feared by none, hated by many.. Some would say the 9/11 attack was devastating, some would say it was terrifying, I say Osama has nothing better to do than plot on high powered countries because hes jealous, to know why he does these things you would have to look into the mind of the terrorist, but to really get to the answer, you would have to go back, way back, when his terorist activities started... Some time in around 1983-1985 Osama and his associates started demanding power, power come with money, money comes with success, success come with intelligence.. So therefore around the time when i was born he was organizing one of the largest terrorist group this side of te world has seen, and plotting to overthrow some of the largest countries for their power, to reign on the world to bring forth his development and to overpower his enimies with help from his allies.. not even one of the strongest countries in the world, The United States of America, can even find him, few know why, many know they can't do nothing about it, we all know hes either hiding in pakistan, or some of his other allies countries that are harboring his terrorist network to the fullest at this moment, but we can't do it without the conflict other oter high powered countries, who knows, maybe if the U.S. trys to bring down another terrorist group world war 3 will be started.. we have to look at all the options, and not just 1, because that will be our destruction...

I don't have the exact answer to the USA-Usama question, but even on the FBI's website, his name is spelled Usama. I can however provide you with some insight to how this comes about during the translation process between Arabic and translating the alphabet to the Roman form. Greek also has this problem in translation due to it's alphabet, and when using Roman transliterations to write, you will notice that people go about spelling words differently based on dialects and interpretations.

THE WRITING of Arabic words in English texts presents a number of difficulties, even for those who are familiar with both languages.

Well to me is Osama "the doctor" bin laden did it or not - it's interesting to me that all these guys just flat out hate the US. I think they may have a right to hate us, but hate the gonverment not the people. If the people of the US suddenly started killing Arabs or Muslims for the fact they we don't like their government or way of life we would all be sadly looked down upon by the international community.

But when these "religous" freaks decide it's ok the world says well America had it coming. Let's not forget the gene is out of the bottle and no matter what these jerks don't want peace, they want America dead. So if we have to attack Saddam or another shady middle eastern regime do be it. I for one don't really give a hoot anymore what the international community thinks of us.

I think it will take some horrible act of terrorism like a small nuke in New York or Miami or wherever then all of the sudden all the people that feel sorry for these evil bastages will suddenly get a clue and we'll be able to really get rid of them once and for all.

This is about as politically correct as I can possibly be without using the F word and talking about nuking these sand ticks back to the stone age.

Well, it's good to see that there is some intelligent debate about the old 'terrorist' situation. I was privy to a America's most wanted or similar last night on New Zealand television and I can't help feeling thta it's becoming a bit of a 'Reds under the Bed' rerun.

statements like 'terrorist great skill is there ability to blend in, anyone could be....' make for a setup for anyone questioning old Dub-ya & cronies intentions or motives being branded a 'terrorist' like Hoover and the 'commies'. I don't envy your position at the moment, not one bit.

here is the thing fake boy.... i understand what you are saying, but i have to disagree... what we did was wrong (bombing the wedding) and what they did was wrong (9/11) but niether fixed the other. killing is not the answer. the whole 9/11 thing (if bin laden did it) was because of people we killed, which was retaliation for something else, and so on, making a big circle. there is no answer and no one is really at fault. people keep taking things out of context. if you try to justify one side as right, it is impossible. no one is right, it all depends on what side of the ball you are on that's all...
