A “War on Terrorism” was probable a poor choice of words, but proving the name inadequate does not prove our actions wrong.
The truth of the matter is, a gang of fanatics put a gaping hole in our country and we’re going to get them for it. Stop them before they do it again, to ours or another country. Maybe yours.
They show you pictures of dead men in civilian clothing and claim that were killing scores of innocent civilians. What do you think these ass holes were after dress in, OD uniforms?

Its so easy to just insult the intelligence of someone you don't agree with. Oh, I forgot to mention that the allied army lost over 77,000 people while fighting in just ONE battle for you Belgians. Perhaps you should go back over your history to the battle of the buldge. As you are representing your country, as am I, you should be ashamed of yourself.

It has been said "For evil to exist, good men everywhere need do nothing" - again this will depend on your interpretation of evil. The issues surrounding this are far too complex and there is so much for each side to argue for and against.

I do not like the way the world is heading and fear for the consequences of the actions of our generation on a world my children will inherit. Trying to teach them tolerance and respect is getting harder every day.
Unfortunately for us, mankind being what we are, will continue to be in conflict with one another for one reason or another as we have done down through the centuries - history has apparently taught many of us nothing.
If war and killing were the answer to our problems, these problems would have been resolves a long time ago.
I hate to point it out, but the US basically sponsored several major repressive governments, and in some cases ousted democratically-elected socialist governments...
Point to an "evil" (very loaded word) government now-a-days and there is a good chance you'll find US 'meddling' back in there somewhere.
