I did some research and found that for flashing Abit motherboards, you must clear the CMOS jumper afterwards for the action to be successful. Try that to see if it works. Otherwise, you'll probably have to call tech support. To download a manual for the motherboard check HERE. You can also try reflashing it with different parameters (the manual should have the correct parameters for your specific motherboard).

Alright, according to the information on Abit's web site for the KT7 RAID, you'll have to do as I instructed above:

Ive tried re-setting it, It still wont work... When I replace the CMOS1 chip that is supposed to restore the bios it doesnt work, the computer doesnt start up at all... Ive also tried removing the battery
Do you receive any beeps or anything from the motherboard which could indicate some sort of error? Also, are you certain that he flashed it properly? By taking a look at the manual (which I downloaded from HERE, Abit's pretty specific about how you have to flash it. I would recommend trying to redownload the file (also found at the link above) and try reflashing the BIOS with each update individually with the correct parameters, as specified in the manual.

I tried... All I hear when I start up the computer is 1 short beep
Have you checked to see what the error codes are for your motherboard? A beep represents something, and you should be able to find out what is on Google. I had an ABIT that I installed in an old computer and I received a whole series of beeps when it tried to start... turned out the video card and RAM both had problems. It's worth a shot.

IF the flash of the chip went bad then the chips programing is what is having the issue. it is a EPROM, have you attempted to re-flash the chip after the attempt to reset the MB. I do not thing resetting the MB will get you "back" to the original BIOS revision. Once you flash the chip the BIOS has been reprogramed. Like do an installation of an OS (once it is installed you have to format the drive to get rid of it-know what I mean...) but at a much lower level... I would check with the manufacturer to see if you have the right revision of the BIOS for the MB specified and if there is an erase/reinstallation utility of some sort. Otherwise...it I don't think it looks promising... Good Luck
Make sure you used the bios flash upgrade for your m/board chipset
You can see what chipset your m/b has when you boot the comp
it is displayed on the bottom left corner
