Why do you say that? BlackICE was very proficient, seemed to do the job. Since I used the free trialware version, I switched to Tiny Personal Firewall, and it does wonders. :pQuote:

well my opinion is that Tiny gets points for its ease of use and also it can create specific filters for each program or service that you run on your computer.
only problem i ever ran into with it was when i was trying to connect to the net / my network which is set up as a microsoft network with filesharing and ICS.
but apart from that for a single computer its top's, as with AVG anti-virus too :)
and, to add to it, never had an infection, trojan or any nasties until i forgot to update my AVG for a few weeks, so when it mesed up it was my fault anyway
