are people lazy ?

I think everyone is lazy in some way or other. Most people have their own private procrasti nations and quirks. However, I also think many people have to learn their way around the internet(search engines, terminology,technical explanations and such) and this site. They are trying to learn and don't want to step on anyones toes but if you haven't honed and fine tuned all these skills yet, or have enough experience( how else are you to become better?) except though others helping to illuminate the way. I worked in a hospital and many people could not fully understand medical terminology and explanations. But if one took the time to speak in layman's terms everything was different and clearer. You also had to show them where to find the answers or suggested medical specialists who could assist. It is no differnet here . This is a site of specialists who in essence are teaching interns.I am sure at times it is annoying and time consuming.and you all wonder (how can they be so dumb?). But you are speaking from a position of time and knowledge. Why wouldn't yoiu want to refresh your own thinking and perhaps further clarify your skills. Hope I haven't stepped on any toes Auntie

I don't mind responding to other's question but sometimes it's frustating to see how basic they are. liek one thread is what is the purpose of a router... did he even try to do a search or look at the tuts? probably not but then to answer that question correctly you get into topics that are much deeper and will constrain the newbie because he'd realize that he has no general knowledge about the topic.
One way is to provide a easy answer and some links hoping that they won't be too lazy as to not click on it ....

Yeah i agree that some people are lazy the internet search engine can give them lot or great information but instead they post thread here so they can get what they want not knowing that their knowledge in that topic is only limited on what the people said, but what can we do we just share our knowledge the problem comes from those people who are eager to know the advance but cannot understand the future.... Basic always comes first before advance and learning or gaining great knowledge takes time and patience .....When i was in grades school that was my first time to use computer were on MSDOS platform then i memorize all those command....until i reach high school until my mom promise me that she bought me a computer but that promise was broken but i said to myself that i promise that whatever happen i will learn something about computer now i felt proud to myself that ive done what i promise

Your probably right - but I can't be bothered to think about it ;)
