Did you know that wireless lans/wans can be easily "hacked" with linksys boxes? These boxes allow you to set your MAC address, which means all you realy would have to do is scan an wireless network for MAC's and set one to your own. Or since everyone is talking about social engineering is such a big topic, im sure you could just get someones mac addy from them.
Either way. Nothing is, or ever will be hack proof. and the world just needs to realize this and learn how to deal with it.

lol, in cisco AP you used to be able to take over an AP by having a more powerful emitter ....

Wireless network are useful for the bad guy only to dissimulate the source of the attack... Or steal some bandwidth... Is more like a tool, not an exploit...
The basic way to protect a wireless network (WEP, MAC filtering, etc) is only good enough to get rid of the pass-by hackers. Lot of business get a wireless network because is cheap... But forget to protect it or don't want to pay for it... because is very expensive to do so...
