One german site once said that the CD block's could be removed by simply using a permanent pen and putting a line at 90 degrees to the center of the CD which crosses the Hidden track on the outside.....now..I read this in a mag some time agoe...tryed it out...and I faild....prolly coz my line was all over the place :D
I'm sure there is some way of gettign past the block...one thing I'v learnt from computers is that nothing is impossible...
Hmmm, am I correct in guessing that this CD can't be playd with Windows Media player?.....coz if you can't then there might be something at CD-copyworld (I can't remmember the acctual Addy but it's something like that)
Good luck...

BTW: What CD is it?....is it good?

yah, I have bought a couple of "cd's" in the recent past that have this copy protection built in to them. Funny thing is I can't play them on any of my cd players besides this one portable one that I have.
none of my pc's will play them, my home stereo unit won't play it since it has a CD-R built in to it... it's a philips :)
Oh and my car, in-dash, MP3 player won't play them either... so basically they are trying to force me in to buying all new hardware to play their little $19 dollar piece of plastic and these people wonder why there is so much pirating of their goods going on.
No I don't condone or support piracy, but I have to chuckle that the MPAA and RIAA when they wonder why there is such a backlash against them and why there is so much piracy in the first place.

Hehe, thx for that advice ViktorKaum... got a spare Marantz for me? ;)
Anyways, the track I'm looking for seems to be hidden on Session 0, and I haven't found a player (let alone a ripper) that is able to read Session 0 yet...
About the CD: if you ever wondered what a mix of The Stooges and Salt 'n Pepa tastes like, that's the cd you should get... Here's a complete list of all tracks used. The one track I'm looking for is the first one (that's right, Kylie Minogue :D
Noia: MediaPlayer doesn't have a problem with playing the cd... at least not with Session 1 ;)
