JP - Thanks and good luck. I am willing to bet that some security company will purchase Antionline and you can retire young! Thanks again.

I normally despise these "shout out to JP threads"...:D
Thanks, John. Your site helped build my already massive ego over the last 15 months... I hope the new owner doesn't want to make to many changes. Us Aussies fear change... :( We're just starting to use electricity.
Good luck and all the best.....
I still think Negative would be a brilliant Webmaster...hint, hint
this comes as a surprise, i was only off the net for about 3 hours and this is all of a sudden happening, JP you've made this site such a hive of knowledge over the 2 or so years that I have been browsing around, what ive read and seen here is only a little bit of what the site is about and the knowledge ive gained from here is invaluable and this is one of few places on the web that you can go and be confident that what you are told or advised is what youre looking for...
hopefully the change wont make too much of an impact as i usually spend a good 2 or so hours a day when im online just looking at what is on offer and what is to be gained, we will all miss you here JP and good luck with your future ambitions
MrLeachy :)
I've visited the site for about a year now and I'm very thankful for all the entertainment it has given me. I can imagine how time consuming maintaining such is, and JP has thrown in a lot of hours (and cash) to provide us all a free service.
Therefore JP, thank you for now and good luck with your future plans. Hope you get a good price for the site!
This is so sad, i love AO and its members.
Banned from a security related BBS I came to Antionline, But with the same false perceptions of hacking. But Antionline helped me, it helped me mature.
Antionline is a place where I am acepted, where I can call home. I learned many things here at antionline. I learned how to build a server, how to ask questions, and how to act my age.
And for you JP, the founder of antionline, It is to you I must thank, without you it where would I be today. Thank you for makeing this place I call home.
Thank you
I think the many people who comprise this site felt a kinship with you as you do with family, they feel as though a family member( a brother if you will) is leaving. i could see that when I came here. Good luck Auntie
Change is inevitable. Good luck with future plans. Try to get a good price, unfortunately having me here doesn't help the outlook! HA! If this was a car dealership, I'd be a Skoda surrounded by Corvettes. Time to start thinking up domain names I guess. I wonder if pornocopia.com is taken? Whatever. Good luck kind sir!
What can I say...
I hate to admit it, but AntiOnline has been a huge part of my life for the last 15 months.
Sometimes I've been wondering if it's healthy to spend all your free time on a -let's face it- artificial community.
AO is much more than just a security portal. It's a way of life, it's a micro-cosmos. An artificial micro-cosmos, but still a micro-cosmos.
It's been interesting to see people evolve over the last year. It's been interesting to see myself evolve over the last year.
I've made friends here, I've lost friends.
I've seen lots of people come, I've seen lots of people go. And now it's time for John to move on. Good luck ;)
Ive only been on here around a month and im already addicted. I hope the site wont change too much. Even though i dont know JP personally thanks for providing us users with a free place to share and in my case gain knowledge. :argue: :argue: :argue:
wow.... i dont visit for a few days and the place is for sale....... geeze! all i can say (other then the good luck that everyone else is saying) is DONT sell to any M$ people or anything like that....... cause id HATE to see www.antionline.com link to www.microsoft.com......... i mean........ thats like a sin!
