It's not just "money making scams" that have eventuated out of the 9/11 tragedy. It's also being used to slowly take away your civil rights, it's eating away at your privacy and the way you live. All under the banner of patriotism........ :rolleyes:

Seriously, and most of the population, GIVES these rights up fully, to combat terror, and find it where it hides. I can't decide which is worse, personally. Giving up my rights, or being blown away by some idiot terrorist in the name of a "Hi-jacked religion". I seem to remember a great man saying.

We lack this kind of passion these days in America, because we have forgotten what its like to be persecuted. I think Now were getting a good taste of what people long ago felt and went through. But instead we will cower away and let our leaders take the VERY THING OUR FATHERS DIED FOR. Phuck all that! That means they died for nothing. Is anyone prepaired to let that happen?

God, this is almost as bad as the Ebay *******s bidding pieces of the World Trade Center. Can anyone think of a worse way of taking advantage of 9-11? Maybe fast food toys that consist of:
Firefighters
Airline Passengers
Hijackers
bystanders
Mr. Mayor
Bush

I can just see it now... Collect all 6 ! That ******* can cover the name "trading" cards as "tribute" cards all he wants. I still see it as the victims' memories getting screwed over.

What sickens me was when after only a few days after 911 peaple scamed charities into giveing money away to peaple who didn't need it while the peaple who really needed it either never saw the money or by the time they got any they had already re-built their lives.

In many ways it taints the word "hero" and devalues it when you use it for people who simply went to work...... The Beamers and firemen and police etc of this world are excluded from that statement. They chose a course of action that deliberately put themselves in harms way to prevent risk to others. The secretary on the 100th floor of the WTC does not really fall into the same category as that......

Oh, I absolutely agree. Be assured I have only the utmost respect for firefighters and police officers, living and dead.

I always found it kind of weird when I ask people, why Osama took out the Towers and they reply, because the Towers were a symbol of capitalism and the American way of life. Now, you'll have to excuse me here, but being as intelligent and influential as Osama was, I find it hard to believe Osama would be idiotic enough to make this his primary goal in attacking the Towers. Guess what though..this is the general agreement of alot of everday people I know.
My question is this...do people actually pay attention to anything that's not being cooked by Emerald, stripped naked on Jenny Jones or sold on the Home Shopping Network?
I'm guessing no.

Osama made his money just like we do. Now this is my opinion, but I think capitalism ALLOWED for 9/11 to happen. Something had to fund the attacks, and that something was free enterprise.
Osama didn't attack the American way of life , he just showed the rest of the world that it's a double edged sword.


Point? - If you live by the sword, be prepared to die by the sword. Osama only used a system we ourselves use to make a better life.

I think the manufacturer should have to legally get permission from the families of the deceased on a case-by-case basis. And no 'opt out' crap. Permission first, then printing.
