has anyone ran into a problem where the program just exits randomly with the mouse nowhere near the close button or menu?
considering it is only a beta release theyre bound to fix all of these bugs, but from what ive seen reportd here they have a fair way to go with it but in the end i think it will turn out the be a rather competetive product

I like the new version and considering it's a 'beta', I'll forgive quite a bit. It's way better than IE or Netscape, that's for sure, as I've been using it since version 4, registered and all. It has a ways to go and such, but with the users input and bug reports, I'm sure it'll be fine when it's released. Not to mention, at least they TRY to solve the problems the browser may have instead of MS covering things up or releasing a patch that opens another hole, right?
As for the control-v problem, read the forums, there's a link in there that tells you how to get that to work the way it should. I'm thinking it was an oversight and I'm sure it'll change with the final release.
My faith in Opera is very high, considering they've provided a very good product in a market that has only a few browsers.

oh I know I love opera and have been supporting it since 5. I haven't had the time to troll the Opera boards of late but I'll go take a look and see if I can get the cut-n-paste to work right :)
