Hmmmmm....... Why would I care what Jesus would do/drive/think?

I am an individual who makes up my own mind. I am not simply a sheep that follows others because "that's what they do......"

I drive a big ole SUV.... Why? Because I want to, because I can afford to and because I enjoy it. Does it ever go offroad? Not much - I don't get the opportunity very often, (but when I do - Oh Baby......). Do we have snow where I live and a snow removal system that is about on par with a shovel? Why, yes we do and I have to travel in it.......

Before you all go attacking the SUV's for their fuel consumption, pollution and added "risk" to those of you driving the smaller cars by choice why don't you all go after the Semi's on the road? You wanna talk fuel consumption, pollution and risk???????

But Oh No..... that would put up the price of your veggies wouldn't it!!!!!!!!!

This assault on SUV's is the result of jealousy - the supposed "haves" and the supposed "have nots" - nothing more - nothing less, and just to add insult to the injury I'm sure the lawyers will be in there soon going after the auto makers, (that's where the money is, right?), just like they did with tobacco, they are starting to with MacDonalds and they will surely find some other things to line their greasy little pockets with shortly......

So, why am I a "have"? 'Cos I worked hard, had some talents that I used and now I am rewarded for that. All too often these issues emanate from those who have not yet "put their time in" or who never bothered. Either way sympathy is not something I feel for them. It's just waaaaay too easy in this world to better yourself if you have the ability - and if you don't have the ability - blame your parents - their genes are your probem. If you haven't put your time in yet - wait - when you have you will be the same as me if you succeed. I always said I wouldn't be like my father when I was young - Guess what???? I am my father now..... :o

Mahakaal: No this is not directed at you specifically.... Just thought I would clear that up.... I do, however, get this distinct feeling that you and I will be diametrically opposed on all things..... :D

LOL....Someone got up on the wrong side of bed this morning....

I dunno about anybody else, but I'm a meat-eating, gun-owning driver of a 1997 Hohda Civic that gets about 27.x mpg. . Veggiies indeed.
