meerkat that was very helpful, thanx and thanx omalakai i went and changed those settings.i do have a firewall, i use outpost, i tried tiny v.4 but it made my box a little unstable.i also run surf secret and pc-cillan 2003 and AVG.....probably a little more info then needed but i carried away ;) thanx again guys.
