The fragmented packet attack is another hack that is quickly becoming outdated. And IDS/fw
system worth it's salt will stop it cold. Also you can easily increase the pps by lowering the
time interval. This is done by crafting your own packets vice using a tool. See my post in the
tutorial section on packet crafting.

Most, if not all software has been patched to prevent these attacks from being effective and as people begin to realize the good a firewall can do them they will wither on the vine.
