Folding@Home!!!!!!!

Recently the founder of our group (Dr. Landen) has decided to buy 2 new computers of 3.02GHz and RDRAM 1066MHz and connected on a LAN with his now computer as the server and he asks you which would be the best OS to use. He asks from this OS:
1) to be the fastest
2) to be stable
3) to be stable in overclocked coditions too
4) to a bit easy-to-use (no {mistake}nessecerry{/mistake})

He can provide:
1) the best cooling system to the PC
2) money of course

He would have turned on all day and all night.


I appriciate your help...

I would say[think] Dr.Landen doesn t know Linux,then the best OS would be win2k.

Count me in I'm at school now but as soon as I'm home I'm sign-up.

The AO folding team has advanced to 339th place (we've jumped over 100+ teams since this thread started) and have completed 1162 work units with a total of 24 active processors (this week). It's starting to look like making the top 100 isn't a far-fetched notion after all, especially if we could get a few more members and their respective networks on board. Kudos to the rest of the team on a job well done. Special thanks to doctorf00bar for making us aware of this project and to qwerty_smith for his stellar contribution!

I think the team was ranked 480 when I started (after viewing this thread). I'm heading after the #2 spot on our team :-) Been stedily gaining ground on that spot, but qwerty's continually spreading the gap between #1 and #2!

Keep up the good work guys, we broke into the top 300 today!

Good work, we have done a lots of work(units) and gained 'ground' quite fast. But it's now the real competition (against other teams) starts and we do need more active members if we wanna take Team AO to the top 100.

Another version of Folding@Home is Genome@Home. My info on this @Home is: My stats, My team. It's an ew team so no update yet.
