Hi Dark Raider,
The problem is not to find the button, but when I click on that 'button' he wants to direct to a new view where you can write your thread, but it never comes to that page.
It just stays black... stunning. The same for sending a new PM.

Mmm... weird. I really don't know what the problem could be. I just can say that you log out from AO, delete your cookies and your saved Internet cache files, reboot your PC, log again in AO (i mean putting your nick and password again) and see if the problem is solved. Maybe it was a "broken" cookie or something similar. I have just tried to create a new thread and it works fine for me.

no, the screen stays black because it is loading the images. this happens to me but i disable the images so it doenst stay black for that long. the only way i know to stop this is useing opera as your browser. you can disable the loading of images completely, or you can set it to load only the images that are enabled offline(this happens more and more as you visit a page)
i set it to load offline pictures cause i still get my avatar and various other pics that dont change on AO. also with opera, if the pics are turned off completely, it will show a box where the pic is supposed to be and it will say what it is meant to show. ie, at the botom of this page is a post a reply button. but instead it has a box and "post a reply" in the box. click on that box as if it was the image. simple

What you've said gave me a hint. I went in my explorer to Tools - Internet Options - Advanced - Under the tab Multimedia you can deselect Show Pictures and Show Image Dithering. After deselecting I could post a new thread. Also I could see the boxes again (without image of course). Thnx to both of you.
I hope this will all be fixed soon...
