Well bimmer, you have two very good points. But, can you forget what happened in Iraq in the late 80's when saddam gassed thousands of people. Leaving them dead in the streets? This cannot be overlooked. For thisis the truest form of evil. He also, donates money to Hammas and Al Asqua martys brigade...ect... He supports terror againts Israel and America. ANYONE WHO DOES WILL FALL. That is a promise from us, the American People who will pay for it with our blood. We have a spirit than can never be faded. Bomb us, Nuke us, Poison us. But we will NEVER back down. Much like the Palestinian that fights Israeli occupation, we will never give up. IMO, this all boils down to Bush having a spy or two under deep cover in Iraq.
Thats the only reason for his shadyness. And he knows Saddams Intentions. I mean, we are America. The Home and Birthplace of "Big Brother". We are always watching. Its hard to have faith that our Monkey of a president is using this power to its fullest, but we have to. As Americans, as humans...
It has been prophicied that there will be a 7 year peace between Jews and Muslims. Then Armageddon. I belive that whole heartedly. And I see it everyday. I wish I was wrong...

I'm sure I'm gunna get some red'ns for this but I have to put in my two cents. . .if the UN asked us to go through our stockpile of weapons and give a detailed list, not leave anything out, do you think we could do it?? We just found the samples of bubonic plague that we lost recently. The whole Iraq thing makes me mad. . .call me a peace monger if you want, but Saddam hasn't done anything wrong recently. . .looks more like Jr. is going after the money that Daddy couldn't get back during Desert Storm to me. There still mad that the locals that decided to take back the oil fields. Neg away, just my opinion. BTW I'm not anti-USA, just don't see the sense in wasting all this money on a war that could easily be avoided and won't accomplish anymore than what the Afgahnistan actions did. . .one more side point, call it dumb if you like. . .but, you can't fight an abstraction, you can't fight terrorism, it can't be eliminated, it's a notion that will always exist so long as thee are different types of people with different ideologies.

Bludgeon, good points, especially about not being able to eliminate terrorism, and I want to point out that the more that America attacks other countries, the amount of terrorist attacks will just increase. Back to Saddam, what I find funny is that Saddam has allowed UN inspectors in and has pretty much disclosed anything that they asked for, but North Korea on the other hand, has thrown UN inspectors out, has openly announced that a nuclear weapon division is in the works and yet our president claims that they are just political problem while he continues to call for war with Iraq. Why is that? Why is Bush so fixated on Iraq? Saddam has done nothing wrong and yet our "President" continues to push for a war with him. Either Bush is on a power surge or like I said before, he just wants to finish daddy's business.
But then again, who says he isn't being pressured into the war by everyone around him, the people that used to work for daddy's administration? Either our "president" is extremely stupid and is being pressured into war or he just has a gurdge against Saddam because daddy couldn't do what he wanted to.

Warheads or a clean U.N inspection doctrine, war monger bush wants to launch an invasion on iraq. And bimmer, we're not all supporting this war on iraq. Most people in the United States are against military action. The sad part is our president seems to have his own agenda. Its only going to be a blood bath and in the end not make the world a safer place. In my opinion, this ranks up there with handing over a nation of innocent people to the northern alliance(A group who loved to perform genocide).

They ( Iraq) dont and arent building any weapons that could reach the USA nor are they threatening us(im sure they learned thier lesson already) plus the media tends to spectacularize ( Inspector Hans Blix downplayed the importance of the discovery in a latter article) headlines sell, remember that.
