bulls eye rcgreen...thats what i exactly did.....i deleted the last two logical partitions not with linux install programme but using the administrative tools option in 2kp......now is that a mistake....should i do the deleting with only fdisk.....and how do i create a swap disk.......i had chosen the automatic option during partitions.....coz' i could not chhose the druid option as my mouse was not responding...:)...thx in advance

It probably doesn't matter which tool you used to delete
the extra partitions. When you get to the place in the installation
where you do the partitioning, fdisk should tell you what you
presently have, /dev/hda1 and /dev/hda5.
If this is the case, now you can make /dev/hda6 and /dev/hda7.
Make one of them the swap partition, and one for the OS (it will
mount at /)
The swap partition should be equal in size to the amount of
memory you have on the computer. The installation program
will ask you to designate one partition as swap, then it will format
your partitions and take you from there.
