Chances are that the factory restore disk is buggy.
Have they offered to replace it?
One way to test this theory would be to obtain a normal
installation disk (for any OS version), install it to test
if there is a hardware fault. If not, then they should supply a good
install disk, either a rescue disk or a full install.
If they can't make the PC work, then it's time to take the
refund.

Thanks for evryones help, will let hime know, maybe the refund is the best option, then he can give the money to me and then i can build him a good machine.
