Also, using Algen's methods to get access to the NTFS paritition, you could remove (copy to a floppy and then delete) the SAM file which will reset the admin. account password to a blank one. Note that you would lose all other accounts that have been setup.

do you have an emergency disk for win 2000 pro ? if you have, you can use it .
here i tell you about that step.
1. turn on your comp and insert the disc win 2000 pro
2. try to boot from disc
3. insert the emergency disc in drive A ( insert the win 2000 pro disc first and if the windows had showed about the instalation, insert the emergency disc )1.
4. try to choose "repair" by using an emergency disc.
5. and then follow the information
if that is not work .. i will tell you later.
