Anatra,
Everyone could have different opinions on war as on art... I don't like war and I don't like the picture itself , BUT I do mean that your picture is a really nice piece of work(or art ).
Also I do mean that whether you like an image or art or you don't like , you always should respect the work. Well about the war .. already enough said on that topic here on AO ( for me)
Greetz,

The interpretation IS the entire beauty of art. While a piece might not be visually appealing, the feelings it invokes (or doesn't invoke) are what make it great. There need not be any reason or intent for art.

The beauty of art is not always made to be understood. Everybody may understand any piece of art the way they choose to. Art has no boundries, no limits, and not always a meaning. Look behind the picture, try to gain a feeling. That feeling will be your understanding of that piece of art. That picture frightens me. It showes unexpected cruelty, sadness. It shows a feeling that i would never want to experience. Hence : WAR.
It also shows me something else. That half machine and half man part... I live in greece, and things are simple here, we dont have high technology. Nor do the countries that are being attacked. It shows me what happens when a high technological country invades a simple country, and the technology it brings with it. A future?? I fear the day when man will be half machine. Its real creepy. In combination with war.... OMFG. That picture tells alot of past, present, and a very posible future.
Cheers.
