i dont care about a list ill never be on, most the people here hate me anyway, at least thats what im getting from my nice constant incoming nega, i never had any before i made like 3 posts that people really didnt seem to like and now they keep coming, oh well. like i said before havinga buncha greenies isnt gunna help me get laid or win any money.

Hmmm, how to answer this thread...it's a bit of a sticky wicket for me because it has been expressed to me in many ways that a lot of people don't appreciate my posts and the fact that I'm on the top ten list, and I'm not sure I deserve to be there either. However, that having been said, it is intended to be a reflection of members that have earned the respect of other members on this site. For whatever reason that respect was earned, it WAS something that was worked towards. I never really thought it was neccesary to know who the top ten AP earners were, but somehow IMO it makes a mockery of the entire system to have the five members mentioned in Mahakaals original post to be on the list. It's easy enough to get there when you just give yourself the points. I'm sure this post is going to be regarded by some as me complaining because I'm in the number 10 spot again. But that's really not the case. What I am complaining about it the fact that members like soule and Neg, who have made numerous contributions to this site, have been bumped so far down the list by those who haven't earned crap. I've heard rumors over and over that the AP system is going to be dismantled anyway, so why piss everyone off beforehand? Go ahead and get rid of it, and stop making a mockery of the way this site was run before your purchase.
I have to say that I've been having some problems with the way things have been handled anyway, and this has caused me to lose a lot of respect for the owners of the site. However, the feeling I've gotten so far is that they have no respect for the members of this site, so my lack of respect for their operation so far is probably inconsequential to them.

If one of the afore mentioned "suits" (new operators) posted a tutorial (say on, ohhhh.... "How to alienate an entire online community in 30 days or less") would they automatically become members of the top ten tutorials list also?

Yep, although most people seem to complain, look at the bright side of this, the remaining five people on the list that do 'earned' thier Ap's are now top five in stead of top 10 on the site! ;)
Has to feel great to be a top 5 member out of more then 100000 or let's say 25000 cause some own 5 accounts.
Ahum... what the **** are we rambling about? bleh. If the list was like before people compalin and assign neg's cause they believe some people don't belong there. Now many people think some people don't belong there. Well, what's the difference perhaps those people are right. But speaking about earning ap's... it's not fair, yes I know. But who of us (members) would have payed the $$$$ Jupiter Media payed to get the site? They really 'earned' it, or better purchased it. There are other worse things you can purchase these days, like president of a superpower country, a woman from Ukraine, a false master degree from a major university, those things do have impact on our daily lifes. This list? ok, it's at least unfair and not completly decent, but who does not want to be the greatest? To be number one? Well buy yourself a site like this.

plus, i don't mean to butt into the conversation all off-topic... but i'm sure that there are much cooler things that we could be using that space for for?
