yes sweet_angel, its telling me No such File or Directory exists. :confused:
I aslo tried the chattr -i XF86Config but that is not working either.
Formatting just because your mouse doesn't work is not a good idea.
As a linux starter it won't do you any good as you just keep formatting everytime little problems arrise.
With SuSE it is advisable to buy the distro's because they come with manuals.
A good fix for this problem is also found online in the support database, I use two mouses, both infrared usb, one being a optical trackball from M$.
